Ron Henriksen

Ron Henriksen grew up in Houston and fell in love with aviation while attending Sam Houston State University. After spending fourteen years as a corporate pilot, he had a very successful career in telecommunications. Henriksen was saddened by the closure of Andrau Airpark in 1998. Andrau, which had served the west side of Houston since the early 1950s, was sold to land developers. He has now put his efforts into building the Houston Executive Airport and Travis County Field.

Andrew Perry, A.A.E.

Andrew Perry is the Vice President of Development for Bird's Nest Aviation. Mr. Perry is an airport executive with more than 13-years of experience in airport management. He brings his passion for aviation and broad business experience to his position as Executive Director for Houston Executive Airport and Vice President of Development for Austin Executive Airport located in Austin, Texas.

Perry joined the HEA team in March 2006 to direct the construction and development of the 2000-acre airport. In this position, Perry is responsible for all aspects of the airport’s design, construction, marketing and management.

A native of Missouri, Perry is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.), which has managed airports across the Midwest. Perry holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology with a minor in Business Management and a Master’s of Science in Aviation Safety from Central Missouri State University. He is an accredited member of the American Association of Airport Executives and holds a private pilot's license.

Jim Craig

Jim CraigJim Craig is the Airport Manager for Bird’s Nest Aviation. With a background of 20 years in the aviation industry, Jim Craig brings a high level of expertise as Airport Manager at Bird’s Nest Aviation. Jim’s aviation career began in 1979 when he worked as a lineman at Lakeside Airport in Houston followed by many years in the Austin area, working for Ragsdale West Aviation and Atlas Aviation.  In 1988, he joined Berry Aviation as a Line Service Manager, headquartered at Austin Executive Airport.  After the company relocated to San Marcos Municipal Airport in 1993, Jim managed the FBO and ultimately became its Director of Safety.
